Room key-card would not work on outside door or my own room. Great desk clerk rekeyed my card. Then, when i left room for dinner my room door would not lock. NEVER had that happen before. Again great desk clerk gave me another room. However, upon returning from dinner, key-card would not open outside door but did open another outside door.

Front desk lady was cold and seemed couldn’t be bothered with me. Literally sat in front of me to finish what she was reading for like a minute while I just stood and stared at her. She was in slow motion the whole check in. I did not feel welcomed at all.

Needed updating. Walls need painting; bathroom tub/surround disgustingly dirty. Bathroom floor was dirty. Chair by desk was ripped and tattered. Room wasn't dusted. Lady at check out was not personable. Big disappointment. Worst holiday inn I ever stayed in and first time I have ever complained about a stay.

No towels in room, had to ask for them.
Large cobweb above the frig/coffee maker.
Smoke alarm was hanging loose & when asked the desk clerk responded that it kept going off so they took out the batteries.Not a good idea.

The property was under construction and there was a lot of dust. The rooms were not the cleanest.

It was affordable and mostly clean.
Negatives:
The beds were not comfortable whatsoever and the front lobby lady was very rude. Was not able to get new towels in the room. The breakfast was alright but they were not refilling non hit items at all (the bagels, yogurts, ect)
