Positives:
Overall, the property was in line with what you'd expect from a Hampton Inn and in a nice location to visit Mammoth Caves National Park. We were able to walk to Cracker Barrel for dinner and a great Mexican place is just down the street.
Negatives:
I wish there would have been a hot tub, but our kids enjoyed the pool. The breakfast service ended promptly at 9 if not about 5 minutes before. It would have been nice to have the food stocked until the end of the breakfast window, and if they would have kept the door open a few minutes after. Don't run down to get food late or you'll be sorry!

The sliding door to the bathroom/closet came off the track and did not work. I was there with my son, so a bathroom door that actually closed would have been preferable.

My reservation was canceled one hour before my arrival. They had issues with double booking, and all reservations from a third-party website were canceled, making an excuse for credit card not being charged. I heard calling other people and giving the same excuse of having problems with credit cards. After 7 hours of traveling with two kids and my wife pregnant in the 6th month, at 6 pm that night we had no place to go, and all hotels were booked in the area.

The breakfast ladies Linda and Jacqueline ( I hope I have their names correct) were both awesome. Gave my little dude a stuffed bunny and he was very happy.
