Breakfast selections were top rate, we really enjoyed the cuisine. The suite was spacious and very comfortable, it really did not feel like a hotel room. The bed was soft and comfortable.

Getting checked in with the valet was a nightmare. We had to circle
Many times and finally had to get out to ask what the secret was, we were told to wait. The only place to wait though was on the street and block traffic. Getting our car back from the valet was great and meet our expectations.

Positives:
We really enjoyed the complementary free drinks during happy hour. The breakfast was exceptional. The food was really good, and the hotel offered a large variety of food to choose from. The room was listed as a king suite, and it was plenty enough room to move around in. It had a large walk-in bathroom, closets, and living area. This hotel did not disappoint, and we have stayed there twice now while visiting Louisville. Great hotel and great location to 4th St live.
Negatives:
Booking.com stated that the cost of the room will be $170 for the night. It ended up being $220 for the night because I wasn't expecting to pay that much for valet parking. However, this is the only way to park for the hotel since it is a 6-block walk to the nearest parking area.

Both room and breakfast were great. Everything was very clean. Staff were courteous.

Sofa bed is extremely uncomfortable. You should replace the traditional "american" sofa beds with the european style sofa beds. They are much firmer and way more comfortable.

Very clean, refinished rooms, quiet rooms even though it seemed sold out. Breakfast was excellent.
Negatives:
The room was tiny. The photos for the “premium king suite” are fish eye photos. The main living area barely fit the sofa bed when it was unfolded and the bedroom barely fit a pack and play. No window in living area. Because the hotel was so busy the small pool had like 20-30 kids in it all night (definitely at “capacity”) and we had a hard time getting bedding for the sofa bed and no extra towels.

This hotel needs a remodel. The furniture and carpeting are worn and dated. The head in the shower dripped and the shower curtain was not wide enough so water dripped out of the tub when used. Not the usual experience I expect from Marriott.

Rick bent over backwards for us on our arrival.

Breakfast was only good. The omelettes and eggs were very water down with the dogs. The pancakes were soggy and rubbery almost every day. Maybe put the omelette ingredients somewhere before the head of the line so people know what they want before they get, the chefs were frustrated and short.
Happy hour barmaid was not a happy person. Food ran out very very quickly.
We were there for four days, and could not unpack because there was no dresser in room.
