The room was clean. The beds comfortable. My absolute favorite was the bathroom because it was the only hotel I’ve ever been in that had a heater!!! It made such a difference not to freeze after showering. The continental breakfast was wonderful. The coffee was good. There was the typical cereal, yogurt, muffins, etc. but they also had Jimmy Dean breakfast sandwiches you could microwave. It was very good. The staff were extremely nice. Also this property had partnered with several restaurants in town and when you showed your room key you could get 10-15% off the meal price. Very satisfied with our stay.
Negatives:
When we first drove up I was worried. The outside looked kinda run down and there was a sketchy man walking in the parking late. The inside was wonderful however.

When we first came in, the receptionist wasn't too friendly. At night we did hear a woman screaming and she sounded distressed so we called the receptionist. It was very scary and was hard to fall asleep after that. I hope everything was resolved.

Location was on Cumberland Avenue which was great and it had a pool.
Negatives:
The mattress on my bed sagged in the middle and was very uncomfortable. I have a bad back so I didn’t sleep well at all.
And, When we came back in the evenings there were always a few motel doors opened side by side playing loud music and mostly men hanging out. It was a little disconcerting but never scary or threatening. However, once we got in and closed our door we couldn’t hear the loud music at all. Amazing!

Econolodge is ALWAYS clean. The location is convenient, and the employees are always friendly. They've always been so nice to agree to our late check-out. We come that way around 6 to 8 times a year and ALWAYS stay at EconoLodge. Next June we hope to stay in their extended stay rooms
