Positives:
No facial tissue or ice bucket in room (had to ask). Ice machine on 1st/ground floor out of order. have to go to 2nd floor for ice. No breakfast whatsoever is offered. Price/night is very high. Coffee in the lobby but room only has decaf (even when asking for regular, reception says only decaf in room - why?)

The room in general is nice, comfortable size and clean as is the bathroom. Bed, pillows comfortable. Wifi good. friendly staff. east check-in/out. Good location to restaurants and the Interstate.

Good Night's Stay but Don't...

It was clean and most things worked. Friendly and helpful staff. The bed was very comfortable.
Negatives:
Not enough staff, but the staff present were dedicated to doing a good job. The TV controls needed significant staff assistance and still didn’t work as they’re supposed to work. The channels all worked and the picture and sound were good, so still okay.

The money grabbers decided to CANCEL my reservation because they knew they would be able to rent my room for 3-4x my rate!!!!!! They concocted an entire, imaginary story to gas light me as well. Hope the room sat empty - karma is salty!

We demanded a refund and left.
Negatives:
The first room had not been cleaned. A damp towel was in the bathroom; peas were in the refrigerator. Most disturbing, while the bed had been made, sheets were rumpled and appear to have been slept in. When we complained, we were moved to a second room. After noticing tiny black flecks on the sheets, we pulled back the bedding and examined the mattress. The mattress was stained, pubic hair was evident, and it was generally filthy. The seams had hundreds of black flecks consistent with photos of bedbug excrement found on line. When I complained to the front desk person, he said mattresses were proactively treated for bedbugs one month ago. He denied any complaints of bedbugs. Our money appears to have been refunded; we left.

Previous person hair stuck on the shower wall, towel folded as clean had makeup all over it, moldy coffee grounds in the water part of the room coffee maker, and no fridge or microwave.

Even though they knew 4 people were staying in the room, there were only towels and washcloths for two people. When we left to go to dinner I told them that I would like to pick up two more towels and two washcloths when we got back. I had to wait for them to go pick them up and bring them back to me after we got back. There was no Kleenex in the room and we had to go ask for Kleenex.
