Negatives: there was roaches in the hotel room coming out of the shower. the beds where like bricks and moved around way to much

Negatives: I didn't realize it was a 2 star property until we got there and first impressions explain that rating very well. When pulling in my first thought was 'oh my, I think I made a mistake', but going elsewhere was not an option at the time. It appeared unclean and that it might be an area that is unsafe. Although once in, I did not feel unsafe. Outside, the large sign needs a solid coat of paint. So many small touches, such as landscaping would go a long way in increasing the visual appearance of this property. Repaving the parking area would be nice too. Inside the stairwell area, planters would soften the starkness of the area, even if they are fake plants for easier care. Although the room was clean, it didn't initially look like it because of the age/starkness of the room (except the floor, it was new and spotless). In serious need of a remodel with updated fixtures. The wear and tear on both tubs give the impression of being unclean, but they weren't. They just looked it because of the age and imperfections. The amateur tile work around the garden tub is really bad and obviously done by someone who is not familiar with tile work or just didn't care. The power outlet on the far side of the bed did not work. Replacing the tubs, fixing the tile, and adding a little TLC and personal touches in decor (perhaps a few flowers, pictures on the walls, large potted tree in the office area, an area rug or two, curtains in addition to the blinds, etc.) would go a long way to giving this room an upgraded feel. Those softer touches would greatly enhance the welcoming feeling while implementing the fixture replacement and other more costly upgrades/remodeling as able. Only other noteis that it would be nice if the TV wall mount would allow the TV to swing out so you could watch it while in the garden tub.

Negatives: They had bugs and roaches everywhere!! I checked out earlier and they ensured I’d get the rest of my money back but the lady keeps avoiding the emails and phone calls. She tried to pretend I brought the bugs and that she would give me the rest of my money back.

Negatives: The room smelled really bad upon entering. You could tell the owners do not have high expectations for the cleaning staff. Examples…the mirrors looked hazy and gross, the bed linens and showers had other peoples/pets hair on/in them, the shower curtain was dirty and needed to be cleaned, and we seen a cockroach run up the wall while in the bathroom. One night in this hotel should not be over $70.

Negatives: The A/C unit blew the curtains up, need a way to fasten the curtains down or change the way the air blows out. Also the toilet in room 130 was not level. The toilet seat would not stay up, and you had to lean forward or your back would hit the tank. The toilet needs to be removed and reset so it's level with the floor and wall. Lastly I really don't like duvets in hotels. They are not adjustable, so you"re either freezing or hot. What is so wrong with sheets and blankets?

Negatives: Same as above. Disgusting.
