The suites have a lovely kitchenette. The bed was very comfy. The bathroom was nice too. Their breakfast is OUTSTANDING. Never had a better hotel breakfast

The way the water hits the drain in the shower causes an annoying *tink* sound every few seconds and lasts for a few minutes after you turn off the water. A few of the lights in our room didn’t work

Great location, excellent amenities (nightly tea time and evening happy hour). Large rooms with kitchenette. All that one could expect from a Marriott property. Staff were a delight—very friendly.
Negatives:
Poor construction. Noticeable evidence of leaks on the ceiling, shower continually leaked; terrible noise intrusion from other rooms (room above us was stomping around all night; room next to us was blaring the TV).

Positives:
The hotel is absolutely beautiful! Everything was so clean and the beds were comfortable. The breakfast was fresh made to order and was pancakes, sausage and eggs along with other fresh banana nut muffins, bagels, toast, etc. they also had a parfait bar with yogurt and fresh toppings. It’s right behind the hospital and practically across the street from the Louisiana Mall. Great location! All in all a very pleasant stay and we will stay there every time we’re in Baton Rouge.

It was extremely clean and modern. The area was amazing and all facilities were open and clean. They even offered complimentary tea in the afternoons. I had some issues with my tv late at night and front desk did not hesitate to come up TWICE and help me fix it.

I love that there was a mini kitchen, with the appliances needed. I am a late sleeper, and I don’t like the idea you have to get dressed and go downstairs for breakfast. I purchased what I need and just enjoy my breakfast and watch tv, because I don’t get the chance to watch morning shows.
