Positives: Super good beds and pillows Breakfast amazing and good choices the staff kept it fresh and spotless. Nice lobby and breakfast/ coffee area.
Negatives: Rooms need updating and especially the bathtubs shower area. Clean but impossible for the staff to get all the old grunge out. The elevator area wallpaper was stapled all around it to keep it up. $40 more a nite than in gulf shores our next stop and not near as nice. Also both bathroom door and outer door either didn’t shut or you had to kick and slam it to open and shut. Bothered the neighbors.

Positives: I liked the atmosphere. The look. The bed and pillows were nice. Breakfast was average.
Negatives: The sheets were stained. The towels were stained. It looked like whoever cleaned the room, made a small spill and used one of the towels to wipe it up then decided to put it back in the folded position. So I almost wiped my face with it. Which was gross. There was a very weird spill by one side of the wall next to my bed. Grits were watered down but the rest was delicious!

Positives: Breakfast... the young man that had it in control and was plentiful and fresh. Very nice and personable. You can see he loves his job..all positive remarks for this young man... need more people like him in this world.
Negatives: Where should I start. The maid service is the worst thing possible in this hotel. There is no consideration to guests who are still in rooms trying to SLEEP. With a door tag on handle clearly stating to be left alone. We booked from Friday, July 18, to the 21st. Monday. I bowled in the USBC Open Championship Bowling Tournament held at Raising Canes Civic center here in Baton Rouge. Hours of bowl were satuday at 7:45pm. And Sunday night at 11:30pm. After i bowled Sunday late shift, i didn't get back to the room until 4:30 am. Monday morning. A late checkout was established with no issues. We lay our heads down, say around 5am. At 8am, we were wokened up by slamming doors multiple times and a maid cart at our door with two maids just chatting away... and banging in the next room. We live in georgia and wanted at least more hours of sleep before our extended checkout at 12. That didn't happen. We are very disappointed in this establishment and WILL NOT recommend this place. We will not go to a Hampton if this is the service you provided.

Positives: The room was big and spacious. The pool area was great.
Negatives: The sofa bed was full of stains and smelled. We were unable to use it which pretty much defeats the purpose of us booking that room. Highly disappointing.
