When we arrived, there was no one at the check in counter. We literally stood there for over 15 minutes alone. I called out 3 times, knocked on the ”employee only” door twice, and even called the local hotel phone number. A representative finally walked up. She immediately said (as she was still walking to the counter), “Can I please see your ID and form of payment?”. I told her, “Hello, my name is Emily, and I’ve been standing here for over 15 minutes.” She simply said, “I had to use the bathroom.” She then proceeded with checking us in - in a very scripted and sterile way. When we got to our room, it was hot, humid, and smelled horribly. We stayed, only b/c it was late and we were exhausted. And the breakfast was atrocious. Being a Hilton property, I would have expected a much better breakfast and overall experience. I will never stay at a Home2Suites again. Horrible.
