Wonderful stay for a family!

The look and location are the reasons I picked this place.

I asked for a 1st floor room and when I arrived, there were 3 new TVs in that room. I had a fractured collar bone and needed access to the first floor with my contraption. I was moved instead of the TVs.
The 2nd room was worse. Bathroom door was broken. It wouldn’t stay ajar and/or wouldn’t close all the way. No privacy for anyone. Shower was dirty. Furniture structure which holds the tv and desk was broken and hanging loose. No lighting in THAT back wall area. No bedding for the sofa bed. Breakfast area was unattended and staff was rude even asked for help. Bad attitudes and lack of concern from the staff. This app wont let me send pics.

We needed a hotel for the LSU / Alabama football game, and none were available in Baton Rouge.
Positives:
The hotel was nice and clean. Breakfast was good and staff were friendly.

The beds were smaller than expected for 2 people. The kitchen was smaller than expected as well. Overall, our stay was good
