Positives:
Very nice older property. Large grounds with lots of trees. Our room was spacious with room for a loveseat which we liked a lot. Night stands on both sides of the bed with lamps! The refrigerator is extra large. The pool is very attractive. It was open when we were there,. All at a great price.
Traveling workers stay at the property, so it was very full when we spent the night, and the bar and restaurant we’re both well patronized. Nice congenial atmosphere of folks. Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. Overall a great stay.
Negatives:
The morning buffet is good. They only comp it for one person. The front desk person explained that the rooms are so inexpensive they can’t afford to comp more than one, which seems reasonable. Plan on 20 more dollars for a second breakfast, but the total cost is still well worth it. We paid $67 for the room.

The front desk was super nice.our first room the the bathroom had an issue, and they moved us without question

I was very appreciative of how clean my room was. The amenities were great.

There was definitely a smell in my room that was clearly trying to be masked by a deodorizing spray. I think more effort could be put into keeping smoking (or previously smoking) rooms separated or deodorized.

it stated on the website breakfast included with our stay but when it was time for breakfast they only gave me one voucher and was going to have to pay for my wife's so we went eat waffle house instead I was very disappointed ?

I enjoyed the customer service. It was genuine, and not rehearsed. This something most staff in the field miss or just don't get it. Your team lived it and in turn we received it. Thank you for soaring in this area.
I wished I'd paid closer attention to the Desk Clerk and Housekeeping attendant. Desk Clerk was very warm, friendly, and accommodating. She did this with a guest issue over the phone and checking in 3-4 separate guest rooms. You would never know she was under pressure the was she handled the situation.
Housekeeping Attendant knocked on door introduced herself, I opened the door to ask for a few more minutes to finish packing my belongings. While smiling she let me know to take the time I needed to gather my things and she would return shortly to attend the room. Her incredible smile and calming voice just made me relaxed so that I would not rush and forget thing. And as I was making my walk to the car she saw me and made it her priority to thank me for staying there and wished me a safe journey to my destination. As I got in the car I sat and watched a couple approach her with questions, I assumed she answered them to their satisfaction because when they turned a began to walk away their smiles matched hers. As they were walking to their car the couple turned around and waved bye. She was still there to give them a return wave. She like your desk clerk are becons of inspiration in this day and age of guest services. Thank both you ladies for restoring my faith in hotel services.
PS. I retired Marriott after 25 years as one of the Department Directors.
Negatives:
I truly can't say I didn't like anything. That's not true. The shower in rm 316 needs repairing. There is barely a trickle of water coming out of the shower head.
