While I already outlined my stay in an earlier review, let me let me say again the staff was nice.
Negatives:
I already outlined this as well in an earlier post. I want to add that you will be able to hear when those around your room use the bathroom especially at night and early morning. You will also hear the toilets flush. Walls a certain very thin. You will hear conversations, music, things hitting the floor etc!

The staff was AMAZING! Always friendly, helpful, and smiling. The location was great if you don't mind walking (which we don't). The facility was spotless as were the rooms. The breakfast at Ginger Roux was DELICIOUS!
Negatives:
I chose Canopy because I enjoy having a restaurant and bar on site. With that being said, we tried eating dinner at Ginger Roux one night and it did not go well. The menu is already small and the one thing my father wanted, they were out of. My daughter ordered something and it wasn't until after 30mins AND us paying the bill that the waiter, who didn't understand anything we were saying, came out and told us they didn't have what she ordered. We didn't attempt eating there again.

Friendly Staff and Clean Facilities...
Positives:
Ms LaLa at the front desk, Kenneth at Ginger Roux and the young lady at Valet were all great! The other valet guys in the evening weren’t as polished nor attentive as they young lady in the mornings. The food at Ginger Roux was pretty good as well. Location as it relates to the French Quarters, restaurants, Walmart and Whole Foods were all within a 3 mile radius.
Negatives:
The lack of space in the front of the hotel to be able to pull up, offload and upload bags and the fact that we had to double park/stand for valet was crowed and unsafe most days. The price of valet per day was outrageous. Housekeeping was less than desirable…some days we got wash clothes some days we didn’t. They threw away things we had on the table, not in the trashcan. And they supplied us clean towels while leaving the dirty ones behind. While interacting with Housekeeping they were not attentive nor welcoming. And there was a lack of ventilation in the rooms. We had to keep the room AC below 70 just to feel comfortable and have some sort of ventilation. The walls are super thin! We could hear every word our neighbor spoke, music playing and every toilet flush. The week days were much quieter than the weekends. Be prepared to be up or wake up between 11pm and 3am when other guests turn in for the night. And while I understand conserving energy, the only way you will enjoy a shower is to turn the water all the way to hot and even then, the water is only warm.
