Room was ok - little run down for what w are used to with hilton honors

On arrival, staff was just not welcoming ... attitude as if they just had to be there. We booked through a 3rd party due to the hilton app not allowing us the ability to cancel versus the 3rd party. Came down for the football game, so didn't have tickets yet and needed an out. We asked the 3rd party for an upgrade as hilton honors allowed. They reached out to the hotel and got an approval and let us know via email. Upon arrival, they didn't really care about what I had to say. No matter what, you need people who care at the front desk and want to present a positive experience even if you can't give the customer what they want - maybe more training in just showing you care versus ... oh well attitude ... whatcha gonna do.
