Positives:
It was comfortable, roomy and quiet. They were able to provide a quiet room on the fourth floor which I had requested. There was a person near the front desk that could help with questions about the city. There was adequate response to problems that occurred when I reported them to the front desk.
I am attracted to Home Suites because it gives the opportunity to prepare my own food.
Negatives:
1. Before I arrived in New Orleans, I sent emails with questions. I never got any answer at all. I only received offers for a better room or tours during my stay which I had not asked for nor needed. That was compensated by the adequate help provided on site. However, the communication with guests beforehand needs to be upgraded and more personalized. Not all those automatically sent offer mails.
2, For the breakfast provided, there were no alternative options for the milk butter and cheese. For example, Only butter, no margarine. Only cow’s milk, no possibility of alternative, The cook had no oil to cook with and could therefore not make eggs for me without butter. She did her best for me one morning to specially scramble eggs with minimal butter product.

Positives:
I like it had a little 24/7 store with snacks and medication and products needed too. I like how the staff are and how accommodating they were.
Negatives:
Just the laundry room should also be coin and cash and maybe some products like laundry detergent and dryer sheets too. Swimming pool area is a bit small but okay.

The valet could not park car at night the two days we decided to drive. Tipped valet first day for him to call within five minutes of getting to the room saying he does not know how to drive the car. I need to park my car. The day shift valet sweet nice knew how to drive car. Night shift crew in hotel not very nice. Day shift employees were all very nice attentive and inviting. Great location for price

The front desk representative was non empathetic. Just kept saying our reservation was canceled.
Told us our reservation was canceled and told us to contact Booking.com even though we had a green confirmation. Luckily,the GM Simmie was there and took care of us!!
