Just one member of staff on check in was rude when I tried to tell her she had taken 2 payments from my account not one. She wouldn’t listen to me just constantly stated her computer had only taken one payment.
As I write this is still unresolved and instead of costing around £400 for 4 nights it’s currently on my Barclaycard as 2 x £648 since the Hotel also take $60 dollars per night out of your account as a bond.
Currently this is affecting my barclaycard statements and minimum payments.
In addition the bathroom was mouldy and black hair was found on the bathroom floor when we arrived…we are both blond!
Due to the attitude on check-in of the receptionist we felt too intimidated to mention this at the time.
As I said all other staff were great and this one member of staff in our opinion should not be customer facing.

Positives:
The location was very good. Close to all the action in New Orleans. The staff was good and helpful.
Negatives:
The property was not maintained as per Hilton standards. The sofa bed in the suite was rickety, broken and shabby and was not ideal for a good night's sleep. The staff showed us some other similar suites but the same problem in the other suites as well. The staff was very considerate and they finally gave us two rooms, so we did not need to use the sofa bed. All in all, the property did not resonate the Hilton ambience and value.
