Positives:
We didn't make it down everyday for breakfast, but when we did it exceeded our expectations!! Our room was the perfect size!! We've stayed here before so we knew the location was perfect for our visit!!
Negatives:
We did have an issue with the A/C in our room. We could not get the A/C to stay on or cool enough to keep the room from getting damp. The front desk did have maintenance come up and change the filter...but it still did not help. So we kept the fan on as cool as possible and just made the best of it!!

Free Wi-Fi, free breakfast (included scrambled eggs, bacon, potatoes), free ice water refills, friendly staff, close to streetcar but far enough off canal, free printing,linens were clean, fresh towels, good housekeeping, good AC in room.

It reeked of weed everywhere and especially strong near our room where the staff elevator was. The room was extremely small. The people at the hotel were sketchy and rude including one who went on a drunken racist rant for 10 minutes at the front desk.
Positives:
I enjoyed staying at the Hyatt Place for my conference. The staff was super friendly, welcoming me when I returned back to the hotel and acknowledging me with a "good morning" to start my day. The breakfast was delicious! I also appreciated the location, it was an easy walk to the French Quarter and the river walk and accessible to ride sharing. Finally, I am one who loves to sleep in a quiet dark space. My room was very quiet and the bed was super comfortable. I will stay here again!
