People here are running a 400 smoke alarm scam business. Naya ( lobby ) and Darvonn Ingram ( Manager) were pretty rude about it even after we had proof of not being in the room at the time of the smoke alarm!

Staff was not clear about the payment methods at check in and when I called to ask about it the person was EXTREMELY rude and actually asked me to give a name so the person at the check in could be penalized or fired - I was shocked! And that wouldn’t even solve my issue
The cleaning is only upon request, breakfast very standard and basic

First when I arrived we asked an employee that was in a lobby for a luggage cart he went to the front desk and asked the employee if they was one he was told were to go and see if they was one he return to say no and offered us help with taking our bags up to the room after check in then we proceeded to the front desk I greeted the staff and gave her my name right away she had an attitude and right away she said it’s a $250.00 deposit fee so I asked her would that be plus what it’s cost for the night with an attitude she said yes so I informed her I wasn’t aware of that deposit fee because if I knew that I would’ve not choose this hotel and with an attitude she said it’s on book it.

*The front desk staff changed during our 4 days stay and noticed that they are all neither have name tags on nor were hospitable , the young girl checked us in upon arrival was nice , the rest were in bad mood and unwilling to volunteer information, just word for word , no eye contact or smile whatsoever.
*we used the $55 /nt valet service , The valet staff were nice and respectful with name tags and smiley faces .
The breakfast was disappointing compared to breakfast at other hotels in New Orleans , the poor old lady was struggling to catch up with the little buffet items , we are monthly visitors to New Orleans and tried this hotel for the first time .
*The resort charge of $87 was not justified , there was nothing that ranks this hotel as a resort hotel to justify the fee .
* Using credit card for payment should be enough instead of charging the guest a $250 deposit upon arrival .
* We signed a form for no smoking and no pets but our room has bed bugs/fleas and my wife was bitten more than me and there is no intention to share any photos but trust me I am not making that up , we are serious , we didn’t even ask for housekeeper cleaning for all 3 nights , we are quite visitors and don’t ask for more , it is not easy to move to different room once unpacked luggage so We just dodged the bullet and accepted our decision to stay at this facility once .
*The swimming pool was locked early and was not lit up after dark and didn’t feel welcoming so we didn’t use it during our stay .

Debbie from the bar was the best part of the stay. She was so nice and receptive.
Negatives:
We arrived 40 minutes before check in and the stafff asked for us to take a sit and wait for the check in without a welcome stay. We had made a reservation for 8 ( (2 rooms)The staff only welcomed us at 3:00 pm the time of the check in and I asked if his smile was set up for the check in time.
