Positives:
Large, clean room, excellent bedding, and a minibar. Great localization. The hotel is very beautiful and elegant. There was a pianist playing in the evening. My room was on the 17th floor facing the river, and I watched the New Year’s Eve fireworks directly from the comfort of my room—everything was absolutely beautiful. The hotel is very clean and smells pleasant. Valet parking is available, and the staff are very friendly. You can stop in front of the hotel and they will come to assist you and take your luggage. The price is a bit steep (USD 54 per day), but parking in New Orleans isn’t very easy or cheap.
Negatives:
The shower pressure is a bit weak.

The customer service experience related to obtaining an itemized receipt for a hotel room booked through Booking.com was extremely poor. The hotel property refused to provide the itemized receipt directly and required that I contact the Booking.com support team. Even after the Booking.com team became involved and the property agreed to send the receipt, the hotel ceased responding to both me and Booking.com for more than two weeks. While a one-week delay due to the holidays is understandable, a prolonged lack of communication is unprofessional and unacceptable.

If you will need itemized...
Positives:
The room is generally good and comfortable. The hotel is also conveniently located. The customer service provided a very professional solution for all the issues arising from their staff (You can read below).
Negatives:
The restaurant service and invoicing were problematic, which can be solved but time time-consuming:
1. I would not recommend eating at the hotel restaurant, especially if you are dining alone or are Asian. One waitress did not serve me properly. She left me waiting for a long time without serving me while talking with other staff members. However, the manager could work with me on the problem and offered me pleasing compensation.
2. If you are staying for business and REQUIRE an INVOICE, I strongly recommend NOT STAYING at this hotel if you book through Booking.com. The hotel refused to provide an invoice and told me to contact Booking.com. However, Booking.com also does not issue invoices. I spent four consecutive days messaging the property with very limited responses and made 29 calls to Booking.com customer service, only to be repeatedly told that they could not provide an invoice. However, the hotel finally sent me the invoice (depending on who is working on the system at the time)
