i was never informed that there was a breakfast! Staff did not mention it upon check in, there was nothing to inform guest in the room or lobby- would have liked to know there was breakfast available.

Classic but obsolete in facilities...

Lobby was nice. Staff was very, very nice. Room was OK... It was clean.
Negatives:
Restaurant closed for good... so no bar! Elevator was dirty, very scratched up and 1 out of 2 was broken the whole time. The price dropped 20 percent a night compared to what I paid on Booking.com but I could not get a refund or even check out early without penalty. I found nicer hotels nearby for less money. I will not return to this hotel. The sidewalk outside is a deathtrap...HUGE holes in the ground where they had trees removes. Don't blame the city! Fill the holes... even a bag of gravel would work temporarily!!!!

Positives:
The location was nice and room was rather large. The bathroom was a little odd but it worked. The staff was very friendly and always asked if we needed anything. Parking garage was close by and affordable as well.
Negatives:
The room was close to canal street so you could hear everything all night long, the bed was a little hard, bathroom had hot water but shower head was one speed. It could use vending machines to help with the last minute snacks or drinks.

Everything was great. The room was very beautiful. There was a crack on the bottom of the mirror by the television so it was hard for me to take a full body picture. Never made it down to try the breakfast, but it smelled wonderful. Other than that, everything was beautiful. I love the chandelier over the bed also.
