The staff, especially the one who checked me in Adam. Very friendly and the security guard was extremely accommodating, insightful and kind. Everyone was a pleasure to work with. Good job.

The floor was not not swept in the room, so it was dusty and they did not replenish shampoo and conditioner for the days we were there for.

Not sure why this hotel has so many bad reviews. I had great experience here. The location is very convenient to French Quarter but also far enough to avoid loud noises and crazy crowds at night. The room is very clean and the bed is super comfortable. They provide cleaning service everyday, I always came back to hotel room with my bed is made which I don't see that anymore in any other 4 stars hotel. They provide refreshments at the front desk and morning coffee everyday. All the staffs there are very nice and helpful. I highly recommend Magnolia to any travelers.

Clean and cute looking. Went above and beyond to help us do our washing. Housekeeping was regular so if we were there in the morning and couldn't get it done, we still had a tidy room by the afternoon.
Negatives:
Booking.com mislead us to believe there was a pool we could use. Could have restocked the coffee supplies in the room without us asking. Fire alarm went off at 4am which was inconvenient although I know not necessarily their fault.

Cute, clean, helpful and easy...
Positives:
Location is good. It is located in the French quarter. You can walk to many restauants, bars, and the national WWII museum.
Negatives:
1, It is noisy. I am not talking about the noise from the street; you can hear many noisy sounds in the hallway or the neighbor after midnight (loudly talking, closing the door, etc..). I hope the hotel can do something to improve the sound insulation.
2, And there is no exhaust fan in the bathroom.
3, There is no Do NOT Disturb hang tag.

It had no fridge in room
The air conditioner was out and they said it was just us being hot
The elevator stopped several times between floors
The staff kept saying places to go that they had no clue about
No vending area for the customers
One elevator completely broke down
Luggage carts were broken or non existent when
needed
Hallways were the best part. They kept them very cold but the rooms were hot and smelled musty and air conditioners were rattling or didn’t work.
