Negatives: I booked a standard room which looked nothing like the pictures listed. The room I was given was on the ground floor right opposite the bar - across the open internal courtyard. The only window in the room opened directly into this courtyard meaning the blind had to stay permanently drawn for privacy. I think this goes a long way to explaining the damp and mould in the room. The room was dirty, damp and had large mould patches growing on the walls and ceiling. The shower has no door/curtain meaning the floor got soaked with every use. The toilet smelt badly and had no ventilation to help smells leave the room. The Lino flooring had multiple holes to the concrete floor below. On my third night (booked for 7), just before getting into bed, I had to deal with a large cockroach crawling across the bed. This was my final straw and I requested a room change the next morning. The receptionist at the time was very understanding (in fact he didn't bat an eyelid at the mention of mould and cockroaches...) and promised me an upgraded room later that day. This room was actually a one-bedroom appartment across the street. While this was certainly an improvement, there was no AC and the bedroom fan control didn't work. This meant it was either off or on full blast which was difficult to sleep with. However, it was still a huge improvement on the previous room, for which I was thankful. The staff in general were reasonably helpful, apart from the very rude and pretty offensive late afternoon/night receptionist. I haven't encountered a hotel employee as rude and dismissive as him in my 46 years. He seemed genuinely shocked when I asked him for the key to the new room I had been allocated when I returned to collect it the afternoon it was promised. He asked why I had requested to move and was unapologetic and quite surprised that I didn't want to stay with the cockroaches! He is definitely not a good advert or welcome for the hotel.

Negatives: Missing toilet seat. The hotel did not repair as promised.

Negatives: The location no called no showed I didn’t have a hotel to goto My plane was late by 45 min I get to the hotel and they’ve taken my money and given my room to someone else.

Negatives: The Wi-Fi in the bedroom was appalling. It was OK in the lobby + There is Very Loud music on Saturdays with a DJ on their rooftop from 5pm to midnight. Be warned!

Negatives: The front door was locked w the door chain by another guest

Negatives: The room wasn't as expected. The combination or AC and the windows open is not very good for someone who hasn't been in New Orleans. But all the rest was good.

Negatives: Filthy. Hadn't been properly cleaned up. All kitchen utensils and dishes were dirty & piled all up in the dishwasher, still dirty. We had to buy our own kitchen utensils and cups. There are not enough linens & blankets for the space. We found old laundry in both the washer & dryer. Must pay attention to detail.

Negatives: quite some noise at night. No real chair and desk. Very expensive

Negatives: The room was not clean, and due to the high amount of moisture and the smell of mildew, I requested to switch rooms. However, upon moving to the room directly next door, I encountered the same issues with the smell and moisture in the air. Interestingly, the hallway and outdoor areas did not have this problem. Upon entering both rooms, I noticed a significant change in temperature, air texture, and smell. Despite requesting another room change, I was informed that the hotel was fully booked and that I could only receive a refund and find alternative accommodation. With limited time and no other options available, I decided to stay after being offered a discount on my stay by Alejandro . FYI- No one has reached out to me about confirming my discount.

Negatives: Horrible customer service by one of the front desk night crew. In need of people skills and hospitality training...
