Sonesta is pet friendly! Pets weighing less than 80 pounds are welcome. A non-refundable pet fee will be charged to the guest’s account upon check-in based upon the length of stay -- 6 nights up to $75, 7+ nights up to $150. Proper medical certification specifying that all vaccinations are up to date must be available upon request. Pets may be left unattended in your room. However, if you leave the premises of the hotel with your pet unattended in the room, the pet must be in a crate or pet carrier while you are gone.

The room was very spacious and comfortable. The location is very practical. Close to the most important sites of New Orleans. We could walk everywhere. The staff was accomodating and friendly.
Negatives:
The room was on the street side, and there was some traffic. The airconditioning made a lot of noise and the shower could use some more watervolume.

Good location, if you don’t mind walking 15 min to the french quarter. Rooms are spacious and comfortable.
Negatives:
The reception / entry lounge is very unwelcoming, the hallways smell, and the common areas were dirty (floors, elevators, etc). The AC/heat in the room is extremely noisy.

The location is great for tourists -- midway between the French Quarter & the Garden district -- all within 30 mins walk & short distance to catch the train to both. Breakfast was decent-- I loved the spaciousness of the room -- especially if you're looking for apartment-style stay
Negatives:
The lobby + breakfast weren't the cleanest, this could be my preference for non-carpeted shared areas, + maybe they're just old. Be as it may, you're not going to spend a ton of time here :)

Pool was nice and clean and the basketball court was kept up, I wish the basketball had more air in it but it was still fun enough to enjoy!

When I first checked in the woman behind the desk had several snarky remarks however the other lady was much more professional and talked to me like an adult.
