We have still not been refunded as promised. Back in February 2025, I reserved a room via Booking.com for 2 nights for October 2025. Due to a recent fire, hotel staff informed us at check-in that a room was NOT available and we were unfortunately walked to a subordinate hotel for the first night of our stay. The hotel general manager also stated we would be reimbursed for the room as well as our taxi rides to/from during our trip, now that we were relocated away from the rest of our wedding party/events surrounding the hotel. Unfortunately after 2 months of weekly calls and emails to Booking.com, we are still waiting to get a refund of $444.49 for that first night. I've literally had to beg to get my credit card refunded. They simply will not help us at all. It has been nearly impossible speaking w/ their customer service. We will never use Booking.com again. Beware- They will steal your money!

The location was good and hotel was clean. Staff were nice.

They said the were giving us an upgraded room instead of the one I originally booked which had 2 beds. So instead I received a room with a let out sofa and roll out cot. Sofa springs were sticking out so they sent another cot. So for the area and price of the room sleeping on cots was crazy

We spend new year's eve night at the Royal Sanista. The staff we're very pleasant, welcoming and helpful. The beds were super comfortable and the rooms spacious. We were looking for a hotel that was centrally located with easy walking access to the downtown areas and this hotel was a fantastic choice.
