The bedding looked soiled. The bathroom door is an eyesore. The internet is not reliable. The micro and frig need to be updated. The door needs a seal around it.

The location and the friendliness of the staff were the ONLY good things about this facility.
Negatives:
We were horrified to find our rooms infested with roaches and filled with a nauseating mildew smell. The staff did offer us new rooms, but none of us felt comfortable staying at the facility. We ended up canceling our plans to visit family in Donaldsonville and returning to New Orleans instead. Because Booking.com will not refund no matter how atrocious the hotel was, we were all out the money for the reservation. It was a complete waste and a miserable experience. This hotel is a "roach motel," and we will never be back.

Overall, wholesome. Not too bad of stay compared to other hotels we’ve been to before.

Needs to be cooler. A/c struggles too hard because the outside hallway is extremely hot. If you open it all the cool air goes out the room. The door needs to be sealed all the cool air was leaving the room through a 5/8 Crack all the way down the outside of the door. You could hear everything in every room from in the hallway.

Real good price. I didn't care about breakfast but the room needs to be able to get cooler.

If you want a cheap hotel, this one might be your choice with uncomfortable beds. But they have a fridge, electric stove and microwave and tv besides a standup shower. Our hotel room was not sanitized or cleaned before arrival. We had to go out and buy stuff to clean the room and we had to buy other pillows and blankets because the pillows and sheets had even blood stains from previous people. Plus I kept getting bit during our stay there for the two days of Saturday, June 14 & Sunday, June 15, 2025. So be prepared. I don’t know if they have a flea or bug issue. Even Nats in the room. The bathroom was dirty, toilet was dirty, sink, the counter tops, as well as other things. There was mold around the outer rim of the outside of the shower. And some of their chairs in the room were looking torn up. And you can tell they did a shotty job on patch work for the walls, and their plug in sockets are messed up. If you’re trying to watch the tv in the room, it dims even with brightness up like the tv is going out. Overall kind of displeased with this place. And their continental breakfast is not a continental breakfast. It’s more like packets of some things if your staying there like to live or something.
