Hotel 44 North Freeport Brunswick

Negatives: Under construction so breakfast was poor not even coffee. They also neglected to clean and restock my room.

Negatives: I stayed at this hotel for two nights checked out then booked another night. They gave me the same room that had not been cleaned and water from the shower leaking all over the bathroom. I called and asked for towels and washcloths because my room never got cleaned and nobody brought me any.

Negatives: They were doing construction. It was hard to find where to check in at night. Not clearly marked that you had to walk up to a check in window.

Negatives: The hotel was under unannounced remodeling and so was generally dirty--we had to walk through the construction area to access our room. Advertised amenities (including a regular breakfast) were not available because of the remodeling. The manager was in India, could not be reached, and was the only person with the authority to address the concerns we had. On the whole, it was an awful experience.

Negatives: room was tired, bathroom tub unacceptable I had room on front last time and did not appreciate how loud and busy route 95 is directly out the back side of hotel request a room at the front for sure.

Negatives: - I tried to shower several times while being here . After countless attempts and getting cold water and at one point no water was troubling , but tried again and got burned then iced it. Really no impressed especially where we had an easy access room ( handicap ) . Was informed they shut the tank on the third floor for the hot water off with the pool at 10PM when we mentioned this problem . But … it really was all hours of the day attempting this . - Internet connection was poor ( not a big deal to us ) . - Construction was literally right out our window . Just wish we had known at least . - Not sure what it was but in the bottom of the pool I stepped on something and it felt sharp. Not sure what it could be but I assumed some sort of cleaner or decontaminate . - Didn’t want to use the outlets on the right bed side lamp because they were loose . - Cleanliness was decent over all but , when I dropped my ring and had to go under the bed I definitely didn’t want to . I’m not the sort of person to leave bad reviews and have a high tolerance level but this was my husband and I anniversary and it just seemed like we got played . We tried to inform front desk but nothing really came of it. The hot water is really what got me to give such a low rating . The breakfast on the other hand was great . Would I stay here again or recommend it ? I’d like to say yes but I’m not so sure because the no nos that I said are pretty big. Not sure I appreciated our weekend in a way being sabotaged . Thinking on leaving an actual review and as I said that just isn’t me and is unfortunate. Still left a tip however because overall cleanliness and service in that sense was also decent . Negatives: Our room had quite a few large cobwebs on the walls. There were large stains on the carpet. Construction noise started up at 6:30am when posted signs say 8am. There was a constant musty cigarette smell in the bathroom and hallway.

Negatives: Not clean. The shower had not been washed, there were soap bits left from the last users. The microwave was dirty and smelled bad. The room was not vacuumed or wiped down at all. The pool was also not very clean, no towels, bathroom in there was bad too.

Negatives: sink in bathroom didnt drain well, shower was terrible, breakfast wasnt avaiable until 7am. constant roar of traffic from 295
