Negatives: Apparently there was two rooms booked , they canceled one for me but overcharged me 20 bucks for the one room , I only realized this upon getting home . I did not report it , but it is inconvenient

Negatives: arrived to find handicap parking in dark area. Parked where there was black ice and later went back out to move the car. Since my husband has parkinson's disease, we asked for an accessible bathroom which was defective. The water in the shower poured out into the room, a defect in the building of the hotel that was a nuisance to the staff (they knew about it). Staff member said they'd have to pull the building down to repair it. We used all the towels to mop it up.. We came to have a holiday lunch with friends at the Saltwater Grill. The women at the desk printed off directions but it made no sense. We spent an hour roaming around Portland trying to find the place. Can you have maps available? I mean other than the tourist maps. It was very stressful and we got there 40 minutes late. I don't have a cell phone that works or a GPS.

Overall, a nice place. clean, good restaurant, helpful staff, loved the blueberry biscuits. Quiet except for the many door slams as travelers left early to catch a flight at the nearby Jetport. Can you put some felt or something in the door frames to dampen the sound???
