Howard Johnson Hotel by Wyndham South Portland

Negatives: We got there had to have our room changed due to smell of pee, then the new rooms shower didn’t work, wake up in the morning the ceiling was down falling with massive amounts of water. I want a refund.

Negatives: The room smelled awful when we arrived. The bedding on the beds weren’t matching. The vanity in the bathroom was broken. The bathroom door was peeling and looked like it had black mold on it. The hallways smelled like cigarette smoke even though the facility was smoke free. I contemplated checking out immediately and getting a refund but we were only staying one night and we decided to suck it up. The door that we accessed to come and go had yellow snow on both sides of the walkway, I’m assuming from a dog since at the bottom of the steps was a pile of dog poop! It was so disgusting. The hotel advertises free breakfast and when we went to get breakfast before checking out, they gave us a brown paper bag with packaged breakfast items. This is NOT what I consider a complementary breakfast!
