I was not aware that this famous property in Baltimore has now become a flex hotel. The price seemed entirely too expensive for the very limited amenities. Also house keeping could do a better job in regularly cleaning the rooms. House keeping needed to be notified that you wanted your room clean and even then did not clean it. Also, it is very strange for a housekeeping staff member to show up and ask "what do you want me to do?" Other than that the staff was very pleasant particularly the front desk managers.

I was charged for my room upon check in even though I had paid in advance via booking.com I spent my first hour there with booking.com customer service providing bank statements via screenshots attempting to prove I was double charged. The front desk told me they were unable to assist with this issue

We were there for two nights and the toilet ran 24/7 in spite of my asking to have it repaired several times. Made it hard to sleep.
Also, our room was never cleaned. We ended up stealing towels from the storage room.
And the elevators barely worked, just to add to the bad experience.
Disappointed - not what we expect from Marriott.
