Negatives: This is one of my worst hotel stays ever. When I checked in, the front desk told me there is no more "King bed room" available, there is only a 2-bed room available. The tone of the receptionist was unbelievable, she said:" you don't need to pay extra for that". Which is indeed a joke considering the bed is not what I booked for, and so much smaller. I took the room considering I only stay for one night. The worst is yet to come. Firstly, I can hear my neighbor watching TV and talking. This is actually not a huge problem since I brought my ear plug. In the late night, there started to be some loud, deep and reverberating sound. It is hard to detect where exactly was the problem, but I started to believe it is the venting/AC system. (Note I turned off my own AC system). One description is you feel your room is surrounded by a big fridge, and the fridge is making the usual sound when it starts too cool down. Except the fridge is so huge and you are surrounded inside it. I had a long day, and was really tired. However, even with my ear plug on, that sound is unescapable, because it is clear the sound is transmitting throughout the entire room, the wall, and the bed. I thought about complaining to the front desk. But I believe they would not care, considering the attitude that I met when I checked in. I simply do not want to get MORE angry by talking to them. Eventually, I had some sleep. But it was clearly bad sleep! A crying out moment is around 8-9am, I already woke up, and the noise suddenly upgraded to the next level! And I can hear a neighbor crying out loud: "AHHH!" It is clear where that "AHHH" come from. I called the front desk twice, nobody picked up the phone. I immediately canceled my breakfast delivery, and checked out of the hotel ASAP. I didn't even have the mood to complain to the front desk anymore. It is clear from their cold face that they wouldn't give a ****.
