Positives:
Hotel is in a very walkable area. It is immediately next to Lexington Market a very impressive two level food court and fresh market. In addition to that several chain and independent restaurants as well as attractions are within walking distance.
I was easily able to walk down to Baltimore Harbor and enjoy a large festival. Free hotel internet was fast and suitable for conducting business. It is also a few blocks away from the CFG Arena.
The room was clean and stylish. Additionally they served a very satisfying breakfast in the morning with rotating hot food choices.
Hotel offered top level hospitality. I spoke with an employee who has worked there for 19 years regarding a concern. In addition to making it clear that my concern and satisfaction was important she helped me to combine my Marriott member numbers. After completing this I was able to take advantage of the benefits of being a regular customer.
Finally they were able to accommodate my late checkout request. This made my workday very smooth. I will certainly return to this property.

Check out with simple and the room was clean normal standard of what we expect when staying at a Marriott hotel

The location did not make us feel safe or comfortable. We arrived a little after 11:00 I walked in the hotel while my husband stayed on a side street due to no parking where valet was I went in and asked the receptionist and she asked if there were any parking out front and she would take our keys for the car to be valeted later- she did walk out to the front of the hotel with me and it was found that the valet was still there and valeting cars we were then able move into a spot for a possible valet- there was no further instructions from the receptionist on how the valet worked there we waited in the car for an amount of time and the valet did not come. I then walked back inside and the receptionist then told me to leave my keys with her and then she would have it parked at a later time. At this point the valet then walked in after I gave the receptionist my keys and she asked me for my keys and I informed her I gave the keys to the receptionist. She told the receptionist shouldn’t have the keys the communication between staff seems to be disconnected. The valet the took my keys and my number to send a link to request my car in the morning…..(text was never sent since she wrote my number down wrong) The room was okay it honestly was much smaller then other Marriott’s that we have stayed in the past. The bed we very firm and we had difficulty sleeping (again we normally stay in the Marriott and this has not been a problem) The light switch is worked by your key card which seems pretty silly since you have to leave the key car in this in order for the lights to remain on. When the morning arrived we went down to the valet since we did not get a text that would allow us to request our car. The gentleman who was there (and for some reason there was only one valet) was rude and seem to be unorganized and lacking in any type of customer service skills.
