I love the location where the hotel is by the places I like

Upon arrival, I experienced several issues with check-in. I had to engage in multiple conversations with the front desk staff regarding my reservation status. As someone who frequently books hotel rooms, it was evident that a mistake had been made on their end, and the staff member appeared to be adjusting details related to my reservation only after I pointed them out.
The situation worsened when my husband arrived, and we discovered a roach crawling out from behind a painting in our room. This was understandably upsetting. However, to their credit, the staff acted quickly and moved us to a different room, where we experienced no further issues.
While I appreciate that the team corrected the problem promptly, the overall experience could have been improved with more attention to detail during check-in and stricter cleanliness protocols. A smoother and more professional initial interaction would have set a better tone for our stay.

Fire alarm goes off in the middle of the night from people cooking. Please install stickers in your rooms to let people know to open the window when they cook. I have been awakened more than 4 times on different stays at this location.
