for one night the stay...
Positives:
The location was a short drive to BWI, which is probably the only thing positive I can say about this place.
Negatives:
We stayed in other Sonesta hotels in the past, and by far, this one is the worst. The hotel is dingy, and the smell of marijuana in the halls was really ridiculous. The hotel charges for parking unless you are a Sonesta club member, despite having a large amount of parking around the building. The $100 deposit for incidentals is outrageous, especially when better hotel chains are charging less. In the room, the inside of the tub needed to be cleaned with a bleach cleaner before taking a shower, as well as removing the stopper so that water could drain properly. Two of the dresser drawers didn't stay closed and we had to put our suitcase in front of it to keep the drawers closed.

The hotel is secluded yet close enough to multiple places to eat and enjoy
Negatives:
I was expecting the room to be bigger than it was. There's a recliner in the room placed next to the bed, if your not careful you will hit you leg on it as I did. Also, TV mounted on an angle vs in front of bed although mount was able to move.

The room had a nasty stench upon arrival but I was told all the rooms were taken so I was stuck with it. . The carpet was heavily soiled, so much so that my brand new white socks were wet and brown shortly after taking my shoes off inside the room. There was an awful ticking in the room, so I didn’t sleep well. My stay was only for one night, and I figured I shouldn’t even bother the front desk… considering she wasn’t the nicest I didn’t even bother complaining to be moved/ get a refund. Just didn’t want to deal with anymore unfortunate happenings. Clearly won’t ever stay here again.

Was told I could check in at 3. Got their no rooms were available. Went back at 350. Got room. Was no coffee maker in room. Just coffee packs. Asked 3 time but to no avail.
