Positives:
Location was the best thing about this hotel and the Seaport area was a great location. Easy walking to so many fun places and with a toddler, this was especially ideal, as we could go on walks and he could run and play in nearby parks.
Negatives:
Unfortunately the hotel itself was a major disappointment and the amenities and rooms were really not up to our satisfaction. The hotel also oversold the rooms, and we had paid for a premium room (a 1 bedroom king suite) and without any mention, upon checking in from a full day of travel at 9:00pm, we got to our room only to find we had been given a very small studio with only a queen bed - significantly smaller and less nice than what we paid premium pricing for. When we called down to the front desk, they blamed Booking.com and refused to change our room, which was really disheartening. After the wonderful support team at Booking.com spoke with them and followed up in the morning, I received a call to our room the next morning at 10am to inform us that they were going to move us to the original room type we booked. It was a lot of hassle and their refusal to take ownership of a problem they created was frustrating and felt unfair.
The new room was 'okay' - but I will say it did not in any way match the value of what we had paid for (cheap linens, a lot of blinking lights from various devices in the room, and black out shades that for some reason are about 10 inches too narrow to cover the entire window in the bedroom. WHY!) The windows in the rooms are also very thin - thin enough where we were awoken the first night by waste management trucks with loud backup signals picking up (and dropping) dumpsters at 4:30am.
Yikes. We'll definitely stay in the Seaport again but there are far better hotel options on Booking.com for families and discerning travelers.

An unenjoyable, poorly designed hotel cosplaying as a top tier accommodation. Avoid!
