Staff were lovely and location great. But as a dog friendly hotel there were dogs barking throughout the night. It was pretty tired and very basic for the price. I wouldn’t stay again.

Negatives:
Lack of staff on reception and waiting staff. There was one young lady having to wait tables at breakfast whilst also delivering room service.
Bed was very comfortable but I slept poorly due to noise both from the street and in the corridor. Beautiful building but poor sound insulation.

Location was ideal. We were there to attend a Celtics game, it’s a two minute walk to TD.
Negatives:
The room was cramped, we were booked as a party of 4 and the room was only supplied with towels for one person. Cleanliness could be better, we found food wrappers left under the bedside table. For almost $500 a night it was underwhelming.

Room 205 was very small. Difficult to walk around the bed without tripping. Difficult for two people dressing at the same time. Coffee machine and amenities difficult to use due to awkward shelving.

Boutique Hotel, great customer service, clean, kind, friendly people. Rooms are small…it’s Boston, square footage comes at a premium! Bed was very comfortable! Great location, centrally located to hop on and off the T to get anywhere in the city! Would have been nice to have an outdoor area to sit and have coffee, but overall we would recommend The Boxer!
