All in all, great stay,...
Positives:
Good location. The red line tube to Harvard was a 5 minute walk in one direction. TD garden was a 10-15 min walk. Blue line which took you to the harbour area was also a ten min walk. 20 minute walk to the common via Charles Street was a great way to take it in. The restaurant and bar area looked to be decent, although we didn’t go there for food however it was busy on an evening which made us think. 3 large lifts which we rarely waited for more than 30 secs for. There is a whole foods and CVS out the back of the hotel which was handy for grabbing amenities. There is also an amazing Mexican joint out of the hotel to the left and across the road- was defo recommend!
Negatives:
Very basic rooms, beds not massively comfortable, you get what you pay for. Staff seemed to be extremely dismissive.. we were told on arrival we had been accepted for late check in. We were then told we hadn’t and were also told different information from 3 different staff members. We also weren’t made aware of how to arrange maid service or garbage disposal meaning we had to prompt reception to explain fully later into our stay and get fresh towels. The staff also allowed homeless into the reception, this made us feel quite unsafe and uneasy whilst waiting in that area. Feel like the hotel needs to be modernised.

It was a lousy rip...
Positives:
Loved the location and how it was walkable to everything I wanted to do in Boston. Avoiding having to drive or Uber everywhere in that city is huge.
Negatives:
Thought the breakfast was included in the price of the stay.
