Positives: I travelled with my 2 sisters and mother on a fall foliage trip, Boston was our last stop, we stayed 2 nights. The valet that took us in and helped with our bags was, or is the only thing positive about the Hotel. The Valet, who was a dark skinned African man, was very pleasant, helpful, and answered all my questions with a smile. I wish I remembered his name. We stayed in 5 different hotels on our trip and the Wyndham was by far the worst. I have stayed in other Wyndham locations and they were far more superior to this experience.
Negatives: I was emailed specific instructions about our arrival, and which direction to come in (through a parking garage) due to Blossom Street being closed. However, when we arrived, and made our way through the parking garage, no one knew what we were doing, there was no signage, and someone working in garage for another company told us to drive around because Blossom street was open. It was super frustrating to be emailed incorrect directions. Our room 522 - the door got stuck on the floor everytime you open and closed it. There was no beverage service available, and the only vending machine I was told about was out of service. So we walked to CVS when we needed a coke, or any amenities. Overall I was just disappointed in the property all around.

Positives: Location was great.
Negatives: Was asked if I wanted room cleaning service; I requested such but did not receive. I believe this should be a standard and not just available upon request, but if requesting is required, then it should be fulfilled and verified by management.

Positives: Great location. Walkable to anywhere downtown, including the public gardens, theater district, great restaurants, museum of science, and everything in Boston + east Cambridge
Negatives: The beds are the least comfortable beds of any hotel I’ve stayed at in a decade. Just terrible. Weird lumps, not soft at all, felt like sleeping on a canvas cot with rocks protruding through the canvas. The surprise $69 daily parking fee was pretty painful too

Negatives: Very unsanitary could smell heavy old cigarette smoke, not at all worth what we paid for it, valet was rude, front desk was okay could be better, no view, small room for what we paid for it, pictures online don’t match the actual room.

Positives: Good location. I was pleasantly surprised by the room, as, after booking, I read a number of unfavourable reviews. Very comfortable bed and great pillows. Other family members stayed at the Hilton Pennyweight and they were very disappointed, so I felt I had “lucked out”!
Negatives: Construction started early and was noisy but I had been alerted to this by hotel email.
