They have you pay for a patio but don’t tell you there isn’t any furniture on it or any way to sit out there, the food took so long I left, I requested early check in and wasn’t able to until 4 anyway and they wouldn’t let me have a parking garage pass prior, late check out was only an hour additional max, blow dryer was broken, not super close to anything as far as restaurants or things to do.

We visited for my wife's birthday and Christina at the front desk was great. The champagne and cupcakes in our room were an excellent and appreciated touch.
Overall it was a wonderful stay, would recommend, and we will be staying again.
Negatives:
I booked a queen room with a balcony and it was bit cold in March to fully use it (nothing to be done about that obviously) but I didn't check the room size and putting the balcony aside the room was a bit small.

This hotel is so badly need of renovation & maintenance that I was embarrassed that I stayed in it. I stayed here years ago & it was glorious. The place is dilapidated. The entrance from the parking garage was so nasty that I wondered if I'd gone to a 3rd world country. The lobby was a mess, my tub was pretty gross. The hallways look like they haven't been refreshed or maintained since the early 2000's. And because of the Cambridge location & proximity to my Harvard event, the cost was similar to everything else. I got a Costco booking, but the Hyatt Cambridge is a DUMP that isn't on par with the Hyatt name. It's been allowed to decline without care & upkeep. I used to love this property but it's now a mess.
