This hotel has a relaxing location but so close to downtown Boston. Super safe area to walk. Hotel is clean, staff friendly, easy checks in and check out.

The hotel food was pretty expensive and just average. But convenient!

The rooms are very uncomfortable; not ergonomic. Very small and cumbersome floor plan. I've seen bigger bathrooms in an RV. The shower is tiny; almost an afterthought. The fixtures seemed to be pre WWII, and not matter how careful, the water drained out.

Good location. Clean. Comfortable room.
Negatives:
We booked a room with a river view. It is true that you could see the river from our room but only from certain places in the room-the view when you enter the room is of a wall. If wed realised this we wouldnt have paid extra for the view. You wake up in the morning looking at the wall.
We went down for breakfast to be told there would be a 20 minute wait for a table. Weve stayed in hotels all around the world and never had to queue for a table at breakfast. Two of us ordered breakfast about 15 minutes before the remainder of our party came down to breakfast (4 people). These 4 waited between 45-60 minutes for their breakfast after ordering! We were in Boston 1 full day (a 2 night stay) so this delay ate into our day significantly (breakfast was more like brunch due to the timing). We informed management who took $25 off a $127 bill but clearly you dont get the time back! In a hotel like this breakfast was poor-we would eaten elsewhere more cheaply and in a more timely manner if wed known.
The aircon in the bar was at such a low temperature in the evening on a cool October day that we needed to keep our coats on!!
Overall a very disappointing stay-not worth the money.

Positives:
The building even if probably not so new is interesting with four elevators visible from the internal open space. The room was with view at Charles river, beautiful. The parking is very good, large, self parking. A cafeteria n a Starbucks style is available n the hotel which is useful for a coffee or eating fast.
