Love this boutique cozy hotel with hot coffee and tea in the lobby. Beds are super comfy too. Staff at the front desk are helpful too.
The bathtubs and showers have to be fixed. There was a leak in one shower and then changed room and the bathtub drain was broken.
Close to my office
No food available at hotel or within 20 minutes walk at 9:30pm when I arrived. Extremely loud construction noises started at 5am, would not stop. Staff just shrugged and said they couldn't do anything. You can't eat or sleep here.
Valet when arriving was rude and felt he was trying to scam us. Front desk clerk wanted to spend more time socializing with friends then doing his job. Gave us the wrong room already guests in it. Changed room and only 1 key worked.
Added on charges - amenities & parking
The view of The Charles was stunning.
They've cut staff because of Covid, but they don't seem to be offering anything to compensate for Covid related inconveniences. Also, they take a hefty deposit & don't release it immediately.
Everything was above (high) expectations; most notably the staff.
The staff was rude and unaccommodating. Would never stay at this chain again
The charm and decor in a great location with views of Boston.
The parking garage was a bit confusing, but other than that it was great.
The room was large, clean and had a comfortable bed. The bathroom was well designed for use and style as well. Being across the river from Boston, the town had a decent coffee café within walking distance (0.7 miles) and evening street parking w
A microwave on the floor would have been useful, and they did not have a coffee maker available.
The single kind size bed room I stayed in was very clean and the bed was extremely comfortable.
I liked how they used text messaging to ensure everything was okay with their guests as we checked in and throughout the stay. this enabled social distancing and was an unexpected surprise.
Clean room and hotel. Very comfortable bedding. Hand sanitizer available throughout the hotel.
I called in the morning and was told that complimentary kayaks were available but at check-in was told they were not offering those. I would have booked elsewhere had I been told that on the phone. Complimentary bicycles are only available 9-5.
Location ..easy access to walking Boston and Cambridge. Interesting courtyard ... cars mix with lounging customers...works...and I parked (for $30/) by front door.
No amenities due to covid shutdown. Front desk did have drinks thou.
I liked the amenities provided (wine hour and coffee and tea)
Some of the furniture was dated and damaged. But nothing too bad.
Friendly and professional staff. Great amenities such as Wine Hour. Ideal to walk to Museum of Science and shopping at Galleria. One of best hotels we have had pleasure of staying at.
