Comfort Inn Boston Milford

Negatives: The building needs updating, this was a former hotel and now Comfort Inn has taken over. I reserved 3 rooms, and first the ceiling in my room was peeling, over the three days there, when I returned to my room the card keys didn’t work, not just the one I had but the one for my wife. So we needed to get them reset. The elevator needs an update, smells and takes to long. Checking in on day one was a horror show, as mentioned 3 rooms, we were able to register for room 1, but then the system crashed. Came back a couple hours later, new deck clerk, said everything was fine, so we continued to register for the remaining 2 rooms. The card we reserved the rooms under was not the card used to check in, so not only was the reservation card charged, but the card we checked in with. Didn’t know this until the next morning when my wife started getting overdraft notices due to insufficient funds. Checking the first room didn’t impact anything so the clerk prior to system crash did it correctly, it was the evening clerk that needs additional training. Also, when I booked the rooms I accepted a room rate of $137 per night, when I checked out I was charged three different rates, the $137 for Thursday, a higher rate for Friday, and then a higher rate for Saturday. Based on my booking, there was supposed to be a $100 refundable deposit per room tax and convention fee’s. I inquired about the deposit and was told we don’t take deposits. So is Booking.Com wrong or is the knowledge of the staff at the hotel?? Not a happy camper.

Negatives: Nothing

Negatives: staff didn't seem to know the area well, so couldn't answer questions like what were the good restaurants nearby

Negatives: The parking lot it too small, if you come night late ...its not parking for u. Also the high floors are too noisy, you can ear the route cars very close. Hard to get sleep.

Negatives: It had a weird smell and the pillows spelled

Negatives: When we left the room for the day housekeeping was near so I let them know that the curtain wouldn't stop where I wanted it to and for maintenance to patch the hole and it wasn't done. I requested a room away from the elevator and our room was 2 doors away from the elevator. I had to ask the the front desk for shampoo on the 2nd morning and they didn't have any so when I got to my floor I asked the housekeeper for shampoo.

Negatives: The size of the bedrooms. They were very cramped and I kept hitting my leg on the bed frame because it stuck out far and there was little room to walk around. The bed

Negatives: The HEAVY smell of marijuana in the hallway, ALL the time. It was horrible

Negatives: Our room faced a busy interstate so we heard traffic at all hours.
