Positives:
The room itself was fairly clean for the most part. A/C worked well for the size of the room. Bathroom was ok. the water in the lobby tasted good. nice could log in to streaming with tv in room.
Negatives:
Some of the staff was rather unfriendly (all cleaning staff did an excellent job!). The pool was not well maintained, and when we initially tried to use it, a large group of eighth-graders with chaperones were basically using the entire space and being very loud at 7/8 at night. After being yelled at by another guest who was upset by the noise of the kids, we left and decided to come back later. we came back around 9:15 and found the water was tepid and dirty (food floating in the pool). we did not stay long.
the toilet in the room had a very slow flush and barely flushed at all. hot water never actually got hot, just slightly warmer than lukewarm. for $500+ for two nights, you'd think that parking would be included, but no, that was an additional $20/day, which is honestly psychotic. while parking wasn't included, breakfast was...sort of. our stay did include breakfast "vouchers," but typically breakfast is complimentary (especially when charging $200+/night) and honestly, I would've rather had my money back then whatever the vouchers were worth. we left after eating when we overheard another guest complaining to the front desk about not realizing they would have to pay for breakfast after already eating. if they're going to have vouchers, they need to be upfront with guest that it is NOT free as most people will expect it to be.
