The lobby looked recently refreshed. Having a breakfast service and snack offerings was nice. The room was well appointed. The towels and linens were wonderful. Staff was very pleasant.

When I walked into the room there was a strange machine - I learned later it is an air freshener to remove cigarette smoke - on the counter next to the TV and there was wallboard and dirt in the sink and on the bathroom floor. When I asked that the detritus be removed it was, and the bathroom cleaned. I learned later that the work had been done the preceding Sunday - I came in on a Wednesday. Also, the bedcover was pilled and past its lifetime.

The boy at the reception was very nice and communicative, gave us several room types that met our needs.
Negatives:
Very limited variety of food for Hilton, on the first day, the chef got sick, and we were not offered food even though we paid for each day.
The hotel's presentation leaves something to be desired, the entrance to the lobby and elevator are dirty, as is everything about the coffee table.
