The valet was very convenient as a complimentary service for hotel guests. Check in was easy and the staff was helpful and friendly. The view was beautiful, as was our room! Large, immaculate, and very inviting, my husband and myself were tempted to get comfortable and spend the rest of our Detroit stay in the room but we had things to do and see while in the city. The minibar was stocked with all kinds of spirits and beverages, the bathroom was luxurious with a large two-headed shower, and we couldn't wait to come back and relax that evening.
Negatives:
Although it states that check out is not until noon, a housekeeper unlocked our door and began to come into our room mid-morning. For some reason, she thought that we had checked out when we had not. Although she apologized, it was unsettling.

Positives:
Asked for earlier check in which they approved got there an they told me there would be a 2 hour window of when my room will be ready. I have never stayed anywhere that said I might have to wait 2 hours past my schedule check in time to get my room. That needs to fixed if my check in approved for 3pm an get there at 3pm my room should be ready. I booked the room a month in advance with the earlier check in that was approved there shouldn't have been any waiting.
