The room smelled very closed up. And the door is definitely needed to be washed down. They were very dirty. And didn't have much in the way of handicap parking to unload my daughter in a wheelchair.

The breakfast room was very nice. The gentleman working was nice. Although it was a bit chilly in there because of Michigan's fall, and I imagine winter, season. The spa was great and the room was pretty spacious. The heating unit looked newer and heated our room up quickly once we got there. The bed was comfortable, and the room was clean.
Negatives:
There were multiple locations of peeling wallpaper in our room. The indoor pool was closed for the season. There was no microwave in our room. The lights above the table flickered constantly when they were on.

Look, if you're looking for an inexpensive place that's clean and offers a decent selection for breakfast then this is what you'll get. The place is old, it does creak, it's not the Hilton, it has a bit of a musty odor (my husband couldn't smell it, but i have a super sensitive sense of smell)but it was clean and comfortable. And we enjoyed being able to grab waffles, hot coffee, juice, bagels, cereal, etc in the morning before venturing out n about

The place creaks, like you hear nearly every movement from your upstairs neighbors, you hear every step from folks walking up the outside stairs. And you can hear convos from outside unless the heat/ac unit is running.

Please don't advertise free breakfast if all you're going to have is warm yogurt and off branf granola bars. Very deceiving! A heated pool needs to be over 70 degrees.
