Checked in thinking it was going to be a grand evening and had a rude awakening ahead of myself. Got off the elevator the hallways of a nonsmoking hotel smelled of cigarettes and marijuana. Entered my room and was pushed back by the same cigarette smell that roamed the hallway. Did the check we always do and there was a bloodstain on the bed, called the front desk for a solution and he had none. Hotel was fully booked and he said he didn’t have any control over the mattresses. Couldn’t take a shower as there was some type of unrecognizable debris floating in the water…didn’t know if it was dirt or bugs. Overall it was a bad stay for me. Bad service, dirty rooms and smelly hallway. Just make it a smoking hotel maybe it’ll make the cigarette smell acceptable.

The room was not clean. The water in the bathroom sink took a long time to go down and there was hair left in the sink. The freezer was nasty and the floor was sticky.

It was situated very close to the expressway and the check-in staff was very friendly.
Negatives:
The room had a sticky floor, the carpet really needs to be tossed or deep cleaned, the bathroom really needs to be swept and mopped. The bathroom door looked as if spaghetti sauce was flung at it. The counters were extremely filthy. The room reaked of old cigarette.

Positives:
It smelled very bad upon entering the facility. The lobby was dark and gloomy, once we made it up to room 216 the stench was so horrific we gaged. Upon opening the room door, the windows were opened wide I’m assuming they were airing the unit out from the last person. All the appliances were outdated. The refrigerator and stove both were dingy white and beyond cleanable. We immediately requested our money back and went down the street to the Hampton.

It's there when I need...
Positives:
I would like to see more healthier choices n more food available coffee was gone by 8am no fruit I am diabetic so I needed something healthy.
Negatives:
No cookware first of all that would of saved my diabetes issue and no washcloths available. The floors were dirty as was the counter tops, no kleenexes too. There was a draft because the window wouldn't close all the way so we put a towel across so not to feel the cold air.

We stay here about 6 times a year, and have been doing do for 3 years. The property is under new management who can control their choices to upgrade, fix items, etc. multiple upgrades were noticed as soon as we walked in.

Location is excellent and near many fine restaurants and a great mall. Room was spacious, and bed was comfortable. Heating system was fine, and newer shower head was great. I REALLY love that they are pet-friendly. They intelligently installed water-resistant vinyl floor planks for easy cleaning. Bravo!
Negatives:
There is no "breakfast." On all 3 days there, all they put out was BLACK COFFEE--NO CREAMER! Not a morsel of food. Plan on bringing or going out for breakfast. The floor had particles of "stuff" on it. I lost an earring, and while crawling around to look for it, I noticed what looked like pieces of cereal under the bed. The night shift girl was USELESS on the morning of 2/22/25. I went down for "breakfast" at 7:20 am, right after it began, and there was only black coffee. When I asked this girl about food and creamer, she sullenly replied, "We're out," then retreated back to where she "hides out" to avoid customers.
