It’s close to the airport. But so are a dozen other hotels.

The refrigerator exterior was spattered with stains, the counter was coming apart at the seams, the floor of the bathtub was so dirty I felt cleaner NOT taking a shower, and there were no dishes, no silverware, no dish soap. The one dish towel in the kitchen was stained and for that matter, why bother with the dish towel?? If I have to supply all the other items, I’ll bring my own dish towel.
I could also smell the next door neighbor’s cigarette smoke coming through the wall.

When we got stranded in Detroit airport together with a few thousands other travelers because of the storm, Extended stay was a safe harbor to ride it out. All the people there were really nice, and we appreciated the complimentary shuttle to the terminal next day.
Negatives:
'Breakfast included' is not really a breakfast but just a cup of really bad coffee and a muffin to grab at the reception at the morning. Also, the place is pretty old and worn out. It is clean and well-maintained but you can expect to feel like you are living back in Stranger thing era of 1980s.
