We checked in, and the first room was not cleaned from the apparent party that was in there the night, or nights before. When we returned to the front desk, we were offered 2 other rooms. The first had one of 2 beds cleaned and the second, the desk clerk escorted us to, but didn't even let us see it because he said it was not ready either. We asked if it were easier for him if he simply gave us a refund. He agreed that it would, and that he would be happy to agree to a refund to Booking.com when they called for verification. Booking.com tells us that the hotel refused the refund. Upon visiting the manager at the hotel, we were told that 3 dirty rooms were simply not possible by an angry and offensive manager. She also told us that the refund had been approved. Booking.com still says they are waiting for approval from the hotel. My advice is stay away. Choice hotel chain needs to get their name off this hotel, before it further damages their brand.
