Positives:
We had pool view which was great as son’s family had poolside. Poolside was not available to me when I booked in November. My son got poolside reservation a few days before our stay and for $21 per night less than I paid. Feeling ripped off…see my next comment
Negatives:
The property is in need of repair. Ceiling tiles in pool area are falling apart and ceiling vent has black stuff around it. Our Bathroom sink bowl had cracked porcelain and our toilet flushed slow with rising bowl water before going down…it was a hold your breath moment… For Fairmont the property was overpriced and next year we may go to Mankato or better yet-st cloud holiday inn. Then we can get what we pay for. It was only the location as Fairmont is my home town and family here. There is another pool option for my grandkids but area is small and not conducive to our Christmas celebration.

Hotel was clean. Room was quiet. Didn't do much in or around the hotel, was just there to sleep. Overall good.
Negatives:
The bed was more stiff than I find comfortable. AC was nice, but started and stopped a lot, and was loud enough to wake you up if you sleep lightly.
