Positives:
The location was perfect for the concert we attended at the Target Center. We were able to just use the skyway to get there. We had valet parking which was also a huge benefit considering the location. The room was clean and comfortable and quiet.
Negatives:
We were unable to use the shower in the morning due to having no hot water. I believe it was because there were so many people staying at the hotel for the concert.

Convenient location, no hot water
Positives:
All the staff were courteous, professional & friendly. The hotel felt exceptionally fancy, like i should have paid more to stay there than I did. The room was great - it felt cleaner than any hotels I have stayed at in the last 10 years (i don't travel/stay at hotels often). I wish i could have used the bar but I had been awake for 18+ hrs by the time the concert was over, so maybe next time. Will definitely book here again next time I'm in downtown Minneapolis.
On a different note, I had looked at other hotels in the areas where I was more familiar (I lived in the cities area for almost 9 years) but I still couldn't beat the price, location & amenities that The Loft provided. Nothing like leaving a concert and being able to just walk across the street and be in your room in minutes.
Negatives:
The private elevator system with the keyboard was a little hard to use (it might have been just a bad reader on the right side too, but i got the left side to work). I also could have used more signage for the entrance to the hotel when you come from the parking garage elevator.
