Beautiful property and beautiful building. Good food places 5-10 minutes away (listed in a helpful guest book) we went to the Aster Café which was a quick walk and Pizza Lucé which was a quick drive downtown. The staff were nice and there was complimentary coffee each morning. Quiet, not many other guests that we saw while staying there.
They were very accommodating with the additional requests prior to our stay and check-in/check-out was quick and easy. The room had a physical key rather than a card like most modern hotels and I loved it. However, that means there's only one key.
Negatives:
The windows in the room didn't open and it got quite hot at night. It would be nice to have a microwave.
Also, do not disturb signs would be nice to be able to put on the door?
It would also be nice if the in-house restaurant had more options for dietary restrictions. Most things were red meat and sea-food.
